Fresh made waffle cones take any ice cream to the next level

Ingredients
Instructions
- Preheat waffle cone iron on setting #5. Spray with cooking oil spray.
- Weigh correct amount of Krusteaz Waffle Cone Mix and water for the number of cones you want to make. Mix well with wire whisk to remove all lumps.
- Pour slightly less than ¼ cup per waffle cone into center of waffle iron. Let waffle iron sit open for 15 seconds, then close and latch lid.
- Total cooking time, including 15 seconds open, is 2 ½ minutes.
- Immediately lift waffle out and place on silicone mat. A chopstick or silicone fork can help you get it off the waffle iron.
- Note: You must work quickly as the waffle will cool withing a few seconds and become too brittle to bend around form
- Place cone form on waffle, with tip ~1/2 inch from one side of waffle. Roll the waffle around the cone form and hold down with the seam side down
- Press down on tip of cone with thumb to seal it so melting ice cream won't drip out
- Hold for a few seconds until waffle cone is slightly cool and will hold its shape.
- You can place waffle cone in an empty glass while it cools to free you to make the next waffle cone.
- This recipe also works well for making waffle bowls. Just drop the hot cooked waffle onto a small soup bowl or a fluted taco bowl form and press down for a few seconds until it cools.
